Our Food

All of Simmie J’s products are made with the finest ingredients available in the market place. Our foods are made for the health conscious individuals that put good eating and good health first on their menu.

All ingredients used in our foods are natural with no preservatives.

Our Bar-B-Que Sauce has its roots in Georgia. It has an old-fashion Southern flavor with a hickory smoke blend, a zest of barbeque spices blended with a slight, sweet and tangy flavor. It is tomato based.

Our Spice Bar-B-Que sauce has that same Southern flavor with just a little more heat.

Our Bar-B-Que sauces are best when served on pork, beef ribs, chicken, lamb, tri-tip or plain on your favorite hot dog or hot links. It’s also excellent when used on minced or “pulled” pork shoulder.

Our meat marinades with honey is a fantastic marinade with a tomato base. It has a mixture of spices and herbs that makes it good for marinating all types of meats, including fish and shrimps. Our marinade is especially good on pork, beef and chicken. It’s also good in meatloaf and for roasting vegetables and shish kabobs.

Our marinade has two flavors: Original and Spicy.

Our Spicy “Meat Sauce” is a unique sauce, made specifically from the South Georgian Region. It has a unique blend of spices with a hint of sweetness, a hint of cayenne peppers and turmeric that sets this sauce aside from any sauce you ever had. It is also tomato base, like our other sauces.

Our meat sauce is used as a table sauce. It is good on many foods. It’s used as a steak sauce. It is good on pork chops and lamb chops. It’s especially good on your favorite hamburger.

Simmie J’s Gourmet “Seasoning” and “Rubs” are a creation that’s overdue for its time. Our Bar-B-Que “Rub” is great on pork and beef ribs. It’s good on all meats and vegetables. Our “Rub” is unique because it is low in sodium and has an excellent flavor. It’s a blend of paprika, garlic, onions, sugar, salt, chili pepper and that southern smoky flavor. It’s fantastic!

Simmie J’s Gourmet Fig Preserves are made from our own family secret recipe, like all of our products. This preserved recipe has been in our family for many years. Each fig is hand-picked and inspected by us to insure quality and freshness. Our Gourmet Delicious Figs are flavored with honey and a citric rum flavor. They are best served with Brie cheese, cream cheese, and as a spread on toast and bagels. They are also delicious on biscuits.

Simmie J’s Gourmet Chocolate Chip, Walnut, Raisin, Oatmeal, Cookie is all the cookie you’ll ever want. This cookie is soft and melts in your mouth. It’s loaded with walnuts and chocolate chips, with a portion of raisins and flavored with rum and vanilla flavor. This is a delicious cookie! Our Gourmet Cookie is also available in “Cookie Dough” and is also available in one-half gallons upon request.

Simmie J’s Gourmet peach cobbler filling (in the jar) is a southern desert that’s loved by everyone who tastes it. Our cobbler has everything in it to make a cobbler for seven servings. You only need a good ready-made pie crust or you can make your own crust. Our filling is loaded with real cling peaches with real butter, cinnamon and vanilla flavor with a hint of lemon. The filling is real creamy and delicious. It’s best served warm with vanilla ice cream!
